Users of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp began reporting a mass outage of the three ubiquitous social platforms this morning beginning 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
Local news sites like ours use Facebook as one of the primary platforms to share our information with the public. This, unfortunately, creates scenarios in which the news we bring seemingly grinds to a halt as the cogs of Facebook Inc. stutter and shake.
Let it be known, MendoFever.com lives on. Though Facebook has come to be a reliable sharing platform, when unreliable, our domain stands strong.
The Facebook Incorporated outage, according to Reuters, is rooted in a configuration error.
That being said, there is a considerable amount of online speculation that the outage is a result of whistleblower Frances Haugen’s interview with 60 Minutes aired last night that revealed Facebook is misleading the public about its efforts to combat misinformation and calls to violence on its platform.
For posterity, the totality of that interview can be watched below:
Yep, just noticed I couldn’t log in to the Face-hook. Oh well, I’ve been on less and less in recent months, so good riddance ! News is available obviously in less shady places than facebook .
Another demonstration showing how ephemeral is our computer driven “civilization.” Whether a “configuration error” or a deliberate attack for reasons only speculative, this six hour blackout is a harbinger. My own speculation is the deep state and the elitists are desperate to quash the rising tide of the many Facebook posters who are exposing the real dangers of the “Covid” gene therapy jab. Massive numbers of deaths and injuries. Facebook is batting away, censoring those users who write about personal vaccine negative experiences. But their AI cannot toss out any and all with total consistency. Perhaps this is a direct warning to Zuckerberg that he had better do more to block big pharma’s naked position. Regarding the alleged whistleblower, she tapped into all the favorite “woke” issues. Two days later and Facebook and subsidiaries are out of business for six full hours. Zuckerberg lost $6 billion in stock value. Mark, he who rides the tiger dares not to dismount.
I would LOVE to see just a 1day worldwide Facebook strike! I personally have never had a Facebook account. Didn’t run out & get the real ID. When I was younger if gas prices got too high, people protested by not buying gas for a day or two. I’m marching to the beat of a “different” drum nowadays. And I’m totally ok with that. ?
