[UPDATE: Two-Vehicles, Minor Injuries] Traffic Impeded on Ukiah’s North State Street After Pickup Truck Veers Off Roadway

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicates a white pickup truck ran off Ukiah North State Street near the Kentuck Fried Chicken restaurant slowing traffic in the area.

The incident reportedly occurred at 7:13 p.m. and first responders on the scene are attempted to control traffic and extricate the pickup from the side of the roadway where it laid to rest. A tow truck has been expedited to the scene.

Information provided by a witness, though not reflected in the CHP Incident Log, is another vehicle was involved and there is a possibility of injuries resulting from the collision.

The Caltrans Quickmap shows North State Streets traffic is slowed in the area. If you are driving in the area, please be cautious.

UPDATE 8:41 p.m.: Scanner traffic and the CHP Log indicate this incident was in fact a two-vehicle collision that resulted in minor injuries.
