Major Head Injury, Broken Limbs After Elderly Man Falls on Rural Property Near Westport—Air Ambulance Responding

Scanner traffic at 3:17 p.m. indicated medics and firefighters have been dispatched to a rural property northeast of Westport regarding an elderly male who suffered serious injuries as a result of an estimated 6-foot height.

Reportedly the patient suffered both broken limbs and a major head injury after falling on the 2300 block of Seaview Drive. The exact context of the fall is unclear, whether the patient fell from a ladder, cliff, tree, or some other surface.

An air ambulance has been requested to the scene and is flying to the coast from the Covelo airport.
