The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On 01-26-2022 at approximately 11:03 A.M., Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the 1400 block of South State Street (Ukiah, California) when they observed a person, subsequently identified as Marcelino Anguiano walking on the street.
Deputies knew Anguiano from prior law enforcement contacts and knew he had multiple active felony arrest warrants. Anguiano was detained and a records check confirmed the existence of four outstanding Mendocino County felony warrants for his arrest.
Anguiano was arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held in lieu of $65,000.00 bail.
