[UPDATE: Suspects Detained] Suspects Flee Purported Butane Honey Oil Lab Near Mendocino/Lake County Line— Search Underway

Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputies and California Highway Patrol Officers are conducting an active search near the 10000 block of Highway 20 close to the Mendocino/Lake County Line. Two to three suspects reportedly fled what is thought to be a butane honey oil lab.

Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Captain Greg Van Patten confirmed these details that were heard over the last hour on the police scanner.

UPDATE 7:04 p.m.: MCSO Captain Greg Van Patten has confirmed the search is over after a total of five subjects were detained
