At approximately 9:00 a.m. a sedan collided with another parked alongside the 600 block of Ukiah’s North State Street.

The collision resulted in a power line down in the area. A witness on the scene told us emergency crews successfully removed the power line from the roadway but the actual utility pole fell as a result.

A witness on scene told us the driver of the moving vehicle has head injuries and was loaded onto an ambulance. The only other party involved is the owner of the parked car.

There are no reported power outages on the PG&E Power Outage map. But, Ukiah’s electrical grid runs separately so there is potential it is unreported. Please, comment if you have experienced an outage near the location of the accident.
