Stabbing on Ukiah’s South State Street

Scanner traffic indicates that Ukiah Police Department and medical personnel are responding to a stabbing on the 900 block of Ukiah’s South State Street near the Express Mart gas station.

Preliminary information from the scene indicates that a male suffered lacerations to the forehead after being stabbed with a knife.

Ukiah Police Department officers can be heard doing a search of the area for the suspect. Dispatch reported that the suspect has a history of being hostile towards law enforcement.

As of 4:10 p.m., medics began transporting the victim to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley Hospital.
