Palliative care provider Madrone Care Network is officially unveiling its new headquarters in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at 643 S. Main Street. Chambers of Commerce Executive Director Katrina Kessen is doing the ribbon-cutting honors. Guests are invited for an open house reception at 4:30 pm.

“With our full staff and board members in town, this is an opportunity to showcase our new office, and officially announce our new location” said Madrone Care COO Steve Franey. “Assessing needs, giving a voice to how patients want to live their life, and helping people navigate the complexities of the healthcare system is the benefit we provide. We are here to serve Mendocino and Lake Counties with excellent care, and to improve the quality of life of those dealing with serious illness. Our compassionate staff, and new office are plenty of reasons for us to celebrate!”

Madrone Care Network was co-founded by Lynn Dress Meadows, PA and Marvin G. Trotter, MD in 2019 with the intention of providing good care that everyone in our community deserves. According to Lynn Meadows, patients with cancer; heart, lung or liver disease; multiple sclerosis; ALS; and many other serious illnesses are eligible for palliative care. “Our goal is to advocate for patients dealing with serious conditions, based on their unique needs, and to alleviate the pain and burden that falls on both the patient and the family,” said Lynn. Their practice is community-based, and currently their specialty-trained team of healthcare providers, nurses, social workers and chaplains care for 86 patients and their families.
