Mendocino County Library’s Summer Reading Program

Categories:

The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Library:

Join the Mendocino County Library for our All-Ages Summer Reading Challenge running from June 18th through August 13th. Participants may choose to log minutes read, activities completed, or a mix of both! Participate one of two ways: create an account at https://mendolibrary.beanstack.org for yourself or a group, or register in person at any branch of the Mendocino County Library and pick up your paper reading and activity logs. Prizes will be available at each branch and may vary.

This year’s challenge is simple: complete 10 hours of reading and/or activities for children or 20 hours for teens and adults. Children up to age 12 are challenged to go above and beyond by completing both the reading and activity portions of the program to be entered into a grand prize drawing at their local library branch.

Be sure to check out the event calendar at http://www.mendolibrary.org for information on summer reading kick-off parties and other scheduled events that will be taking place at your local branch this summer.

For more information, please contact your local branch library or the Mendocino County Cultural Services Agency at 234-2873
