Three-Vehicle Collision Blocks State Route 1 North of Fort Bragg

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page indicate the northbound lane of State Route 1 is blocked just north of Fort Bragg after a three-vehicle collision.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:01 p.m. and involved a black Ford, a red Dodge Ram, and a silver sedan. As of 5:18 p.m., there has been no information offered regarding the status of the patients.

The Caltrans Quickmap indicates traffic in both lanes is affected with the northbound lane moving slower than the southbound.


UPDATE 6:01 p.m.: Traffic is still slowed in the area of the collision and the CHP Traffic Incident Information page describes the vehicle mostly impinging traffic as a sedan with major front end damage.
