The following is a post from the Mendocino Coast Writers’ Conference:
In a response for more programming all year round, the Mendocino Coast Writers’ Conference is launching a fall online seminar series starting Saturday, October 15. Now, writers from all over the world can access MCWC seminars and workshops from the comfort of their home in the months leading up to their in-person conference in August.
Each seminar will be two hours and will include a presentation, resources, and Q&A. Registration is $40 each. Seminars will be hosted through Zoom video and participants will have access to the recordings within 24 hours.
All seminars will take place on Saturdays from 12pm – 2pm Pacific Time. Below is the full fall line-up:
- Saturday, October 15 – The War Still Within: Poems of the Korean Diaspora with Tanya Ko Hong
- Saturday, October 22 – Write with Urgency: The Novel & The Memoir with Donna Freitas
- Saturday, October 29 – Building Out a Writer’s Life with Kate Folk
- Saturday, November 5 – Silence and the Imagination with Claudia Castro Luna
- Saturday, November 12 – The Main Course: Poets Writing About Food Through With The Haibun with Anastacia-Renée
