A traffic accident near the Mendocino/Humboldt County line resulted in a pickup truck coming to rest on its side and two occupants reportedly injured.
An air ambulance was requested and will be landing at the Piercy post office to intercept the patients.
Initially reported around 7:07 p.m., a pick-up truck on its side came to rest on the Highway 101/Piercy northbound off-ramp where it was said to be smoking. The two occupants were reportedly injured and air ambulance was dispatched.
