The following is a press release issued by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office:
On Monday, October 2, 2023, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Elijah House Shelter for a coroner investigation.
The decedent was last seen by shelter staff around 2:00 a.m. Monday morning, and was found deceased in his bed when shelter staff made their morning rounds at approximately 6:30 a.m. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death; however, there were no signs of foul play.
As a shelter resident, the staff knew the decedent to be respectful and rule-abiding. Lake County Sheriff’s Office is actively working to locate the next of kin, so at this time, the decedent’s identity will not be released.

I would start with officer or sheriff whatever you want to call him p o s Bruce Smith just because I know how corrupt one can be when they’re growing and robbing just a heads up
Is this conversation about a crooked cop or the investigation at the shelter? I can never get a STRAIGHT ANSWER from ANYBODY in Lake County! SAD
