The Thirsty Axe proudly presents a night of exhilarating Indie  Rock with Weird Year, all while spreading holiday cheer through a charitable toy drive for Toys for Tots. This festive event takes place on Saturday, December 22nd, starting at 9 PM, at The Thirsty Axe in Ukiah.

In the spirit of giving, admission is only $10 with a suggested donation of a new, unwrapped toy or $10. Embracing the season of generosity, both The Thirsty Axe and Weird Year are delighted to donate their time and efforts to support the important mission of Toys for Tots.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Toys for Tots for this special concert and toy drive. It’s an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy fantastic music, and make a positive impact on the lives of children during the holiday season,” says Trea Schmuckley, lead singer and lead guitar for Weird Year.

“In one capacity or another I have worked with Toys for Tots for years, and really appreciate that everything that is donated goes directly to toys for kids in need.” says Erik Harmon, of The  Thirsty Axe. “And Weird Year is just the best. They were the very first band to play The Thirsty  Axe, and always put on an excellent show!”

This is going to be an event you do not want to miss, holiday vibes, the joy of giving back, and a great night of Indie Rock. Let’s make this Weird Year concert a memorable occasion for all, while supporting a wonderful cause.
