The following is a press release from Redwood Gospel Missions:
In partnership with 12 churches in Ukiah, Redwood Gospel Mission Ukiah, will be coming together for a first community-wide Good Friday Service. In addition to having a service together, they will be serving up to 200 homeless individuals after the service. Churches are preparing for Easter, which is one of the busiest and most important days of the year. Good Friday has great significance. Sharing a Good Friday service is a beautiful way to be together as a community.
Redwood Gospel Mission Ukiah’s Center For Hope (formally NorCal Christian Ministries) is a homeless day-center providing showers, clothing, a Gospel message from a different church each day, breakfast, Celebrate Recovery Classes, and more. The Mission works closely with these partner churches at the center. Good Friday For All in partnership with these churches will be having a traditional Easter Dinner, haircuts, free coats, blessing bags, resources and other actives for our homeless friends.
We have an exciting event we would like to share with you:
Good Friday For All:
March 29th from 4pm-6pm, New Life Community Church, 750 Yosemite Drive, Ukiah.
Opportunities to serve and donate are listed at http://www.rgm.org/easter2024
