At 5:33 this morning California Highway Patrol and Hopland Fire units responded to a single-vehicle on its roof approximately one mile north of Hopland. Upon arriving to the scene, units found a utility pole leaning over the roadway necessitating Highway 101 be diminished to one lane traffic.
The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page says the involved vehicle is a Honda Accord and scanner traffic indicated the vehicle landed on its roof in a field.
The Caltrans Quickmap shows traffic is starting to significantly slow down in the area and travelers should expect a delay.
The incident commander at scene told the dispatch all single-lane traffic will be within the northbound lane.
UPDATE 10:00 a.m.
According to the Caltrans Quickmap, the Highway 101 is clear and traffic is flowing smoothly.
