Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate Highway 101 is blocked after a vehicle collided with a guard rail on the Ridgewood Grade.
The dispatcher told responding units that the driver of the vehicle had obtained a ride to Ukiah Valley Medical Center privately and left the vehicle.
The CalTrans Quickmap indicates traffic in the southbound lane is heavily impacted.
UPDATE 5:47 p.m.: As per the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page, Highway 101 is now clear and the CalTrans Quick map indicates traffic has cleared up.
