Last night at approximately 9:55 p.m. reports of a residential structure fire on Blue Oak Drive south of Ukiah prompted a multi-agency response that kept the home from being a total loss.

Hopland Fire Protection District Chief Mitch Franklin told us the entirety of the home’s garage and a big portion of the kitchen was destroyed as a result of the fire and the cause is “still under investigation.”
