Savannah Aimee Logan, age 27, passed away tragically on June 17th, 2023. She was born on July 25th, 1995 to parents Jason Logan and Sarah Summit. She instantly became the center of their universe and that of the entire families, as well. To say, “She lit up a room” would be an extreme understatement. From a very young age, Savannah was extremely inquisitive, intelligent and entertaining! Her smile was contagious and her humor was sensational. To know her was to love her, she always had a way of making things better.

Savannah grew up in Ukiah, California, graduating high school at UHS in 2013.

She is survived by her children, Everley Ann Grider and Easton Jay Grider. Her Father, Jason Logan and Stepmother Alicia Logan, her mother Sarah Summit and her siblings, Emma Bechtol, Tinley Logan and Pyper and Tayt Halstad.

Savannah was just getting started in her nursing career, and it was a job so well suited for such a kind and loving soul.

Savannah was a free spirit and every person in the world to her, was just a friend she hadn’t met yet.

The world is a lot less bright without her in it. We will miss her every minute of everyday until we see her sweet smile again.

Her celebration of life will take place at 1:00 on  Saturday, July 1st at Barra Winery in Redwood Valley.

  6. I wish I had gotten a chance to know Savannah. She literally brightened any place I ever saw her in, even a wake for God’s sake. Rest in peace.

  7. “The world is a lot less bright without her in it…” – that statement describes Savannah’s incredible impact on every being with whom she crossed paths. I admired Savvi’s fearlessness and adored her warm heart. By her very nature, she was an advocate for the LGBTQ family and without fail, stood up for what she believes. Her energy was palpable, almost other worldly. Until the end of time, no one will ever hold a candle to you, Savvi. You were truly magical, in a class of your own. I have a feeling that I’ll have no trouble finding you when I look up to the sky at night – you’re the brightest star there ever will be. I love you I love you I love you, sweet girl.
