Firefighters from the ground and air are converging on a fire that is burning west of Covelo this afternoon.
The Incident Commander reported at 2:36 p.m. that multiple RVs are fully involved on Rifle Range Road and had extended into nearby vegetation. The fire is approximately one-quarter acre in size and growing at a slow rate of spread.
The initial dispatch occurred around 2:25 p.m. with reports that a large column of black smoke could be seen rising from the area of Rifle Range Road.

UPDATE 2:53 p.m.: The Incident Commander has canceled air and ground resources not yet at the scene.
