Fire Growing Rapidly Between Ukiah and Hopland

Pink retardant sprays on the McNab Fire. [Crop of image from Alert California]A fire broke out about 11:20 a.m. west of Highway 101 between Hopland and Ukiah near McNab Ranch Road.

The Incident Commander reported that the fire is approximately two acres with potential to grow to 100 acres and it is growing rapidly.

UPDATE 11:47 a.m.: The Incident Commander is reporting that the fire is now 8 to 10 acres.
