Teens Allegedly Flash Rifle in Reported Road Rage Incident Near Ukiah

Law enforcement is searching for a vehicle this evening involved in a reported road rage incident near Ukiah that escalated when one of the occupants allegedly brandished a rifle.

Scanner traffic indicated the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. near Eagle Peak Middle School in Redwood Valley. According to the reporting party, a silver, newer-model Toyota 4Runner cut them off. The vehicle was occupied by three juveniles, aged between 16 and 20.

One of the passengers, reportedly a Hispanic juvenile, allegedly pointed a rifle with a scope at the reporting party, who described seeing the muzzle and scope of the weapon. The 4Runner was last seen pulling into the parking lot of Eagle Peak Middle School from the west.

As of publication, deputies have been searching the area but have yet to locate the vehicle or individuals matching the description.
