Firefighters are actively fighting a structure fire in Redwood Valley this afternoon.
Scanner traffic indicates the call went out around 3:40 p.m. that a home on Colony Drive was actively smoking. The specific block number is unclear but the incident is reportedly located off of Road D.
The Incident Commander reported the entire home is involved and firefighters have positioned themselves around the structure.
UPDATE 4:11 p.m.: The Incident Commander requested a coroner be dispatched to the scene due to a fatality.
