  1. The Sheriff is the 4th highest paid person in Mendo’s gov’t body. This is what he is doing about homelessness / Addiction in Mendo? Tax money well spent… Useless interview.

  2. Appreciated Listening to Like It or Not on Spotify. I think we are fortunate to have a Sheriff like Matt Kendall. I also liked learning something new about our community and current day challenges. 🐾🐾🐾🌠 Thank You.

  3. Why expand jail facilities for mental health and substance use when crime rates in Mendocino have decreased severely: https://openjustice.doj.ca.gov/exploration/crime-statistics/crimes-clearances . The county needs to invest in rehab, mental health providers, and programs to assist with prevention, not jails. Matt Kendall, people need help not jails, when it’s too late. But I’m sure that would be an issue for your department with making profit. And – why isn’t there any REAL solutions to end drug issues with a task force? Not the smartest tool to fix this problem.

  4. Why is it every single time you interview the Sheriff of Mendocino county regarding other people, Kendall makes the story all about himself as a child, his Pa Pa, his Ma Ma, his Me Ma, his He Ha, his Pee Pa, blah blah, blah? It sounds like an episode of Andy Griffith show from 1968 set in Mayberry with Aunt Bee, Opee, and Deputy Barney Fithe. 🤠👮🏻‍♂️🫏🫏🫏🫏🫏

  5. I heard several dispatchers left the county for greener pastures in Sonoma County after you didn’t support them getting a decent cost of living increase. Didn’t they get a 1% COLA? Wasn’t it drastically out of proportion to other positions at MCSO that you fought to get a higher COLA along with raises? It’s your budget.

    • NO women in leadership yet promote lazy felon yes man type of guys. Makes sense decisions aren’t made with the correct head since they’re measuring and comparing other heads

      • That’s funny looks like there’s a female jail boss maybe a captain? and several female supervisors in that department. Where are you getting your information?
Must be Tat James? The guy who got fired from Willits pd and keeps going on YouTube complaining about getting tickets with some fat guy who also got fired from somewhere.
        What an idiot!

        • I saw those guys laughed so hard. A guy who only talks about being a cop but trashes on cops obviously because he got fired. Now he tries to look like he just got out of jail somewhere. Total identity crisis!
And that other guy spitting in a Gatorade bottle looked like he belonged on a dock in the Louisiana swamp somewhere. I thought it was some comedy show until I realized it was two grown men whining like children!
So I looked him up and found he’s like a pro cry baby. Does anybody know why he got fired? He doesn’t talk about it looks like he just talks about everybody else.

          • Grew up with Trent that tattooed dude went to highschool in ukiah. He’s always had issues. Total poser trying to play the cool guy never stood for anything that I remember. He was like a parole officer for the county or something total joke.
