The following is a press release from the Lakeport Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On March 20th, 2024, at approximately 4:30 PM Lakeport Police Department (LPD) Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of 11th Street to investigate the report of a disturbance. After arriving at the residence, officers located an adult female subject who had visible injuries and determined that she had been the victim of domestic violence. She was safely removed from the residence by officers and taken to a local hospital by our Lake Family Resource Center (LFRC) Crisis Responder. Officers also located an adult male suspect at the scene and identified him as Patrick James Davies, 35 years of age. Officers attempted to detain Davies at the door, but he resisted and assaulted two officers, causing minor injuries to both, before fleeing into the house. Officers deployed a taser during the contact, but it was not effective.

Six additional officers responded and began negotiating with Davies to surrender. To protect the safety of the officers and community, the westbound lane of 11th Street between Mellor Drive and Safeway was closed, and traffic controls were put in place by Lakeport Public Works (LPW). Additionally, Lakeport Fire Protection District was called and sent a fire engine and ambulance to the scene to standby. Lake County Behavioral Health (LCBH) Licensed Clinical Social Workers also responded to assist us with negotiations.

At approximately 8:42 PM, Davies peacefully surrendered to Lakeport Police Officers and was taken into custody. He was arrested and transported to the Lake County Correctional Facility and booked for felony domestic violence, felony resisting with violence, felony terrorist threats, committing a felony while on bail for a previous felony, felony assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.

Davies was previously arrested by the LPD on March 4th of this year for felony domestic violence, felony false imprisonment, felony battery with injuries and felony assault with a deadly weapon. He was released on bail for those charges.

Due to the repeated crimes and violence, officers sought a bail enhancement from a Lake County Superior Court judge. The bail on this current arrest was set at $500,000.00

  1. What the fuck. Is there some spring testosterone in the air with all these women beaters? How the fuck do? What in the holy? I guess maybe they’ll raise the bail this time since he assaulted cops instead of just a woman?

  2. Why isn’t this guy bruised up and beaten? Assaulted two officers and didn’t receive a well deserved beat down? These cops missed a legal opportunity to beat the crap outta this piece-o-shit!

  3. This guy’s record begs the argument of bail vs. forget the trial, throw him into PRISON NOT JAIL….like the other commenter said… OH.. he assaulted a police officer so NOWW THERES BAIL ENHANCEMENT??? YES… what does that tell the next thug??? “ITS OK TO BEAT WOMEN YOU CAN GET A “GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD” assault a police officer you have to pay out a little more….BUTTT.. You still can be free… WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM???
