First Responders Converge on Reported Gunshot Victim in Hopland

A person was reportedly the victim of a gunshot wound to the chest this morning in Hopland prompting an air ambulance

Scanner traffic began around 10:00 a.m. indicating a patient with a gunshot wound to the chest was having difficulty breathing.

An air ambulance is inbound from Sonoma County to transport the patient to medical care. It is unclear whether the incident is criminal or accidental in nature.
