Intoxicated and Injured Juvenile Suspected of Early Morning Hit and Run in Ukiah Leaving Three Cars Damaged

Categories:

Early this morning at approximately 2 o’clock residents of the 500 block of Ukiah’s School Street awoke to an overturned sedan in the middle of the roadway alongside a damaged truck and SUV.

Ukiah Police Department Lieutenant Andrew Phillips told us the suspected driver was a juvenile who fled the area, was found injured at a nearby hotel and was “transported to the hospital for medical care and was cited.”

Lieutenant Phillips said after the driver fled the scene, “a nearby hotel contacted UPD regarding a guest who appeared to be injured.” Officers responded to the hotel, contacted a juvenile who “admitted to being the driver, was intoxicated” and was taken to the hospital.
