MendoMoments: A Rainbow Emerges From the Dynamic Storm System Coming Aground

Categories:

A storm is a-brewing. Weather predictions are estimating many feet of mountain snow as families consider their Christmas travel plans.

In the midst of the storm’s build-up, blue skies have emerged and the rainbows have appeared.

This rainbow, captured by Mendocino Coast resident Samara Mondello Smith, hovered over the town of Mendocino as the Pacific winds carried in a storm system bent on making our mountains snow-capped.

MendoMoments, is dedicated to showcasing the land, animals, and people that make up Mendocino County. All Mendocino County residents and visitors are invited to participate. Send photographs to matthewplafever@gmail.com including a description of what your photograph depicts, where it was taken, and any other important details.
